The game's concept is okay.

I however find the gameplay in itself quite boring. You barely have to do anything in order to win.
The stealth section could be beaten very quickly thanks to memorization.

My one problem:

The save feature should have a yes/no prompt before doing its thing.

Nothing too new or interesting. Definitely better than most of the new stuff though.

Blegh. Sticks to walls, and extremely boring. Unfortunate considering this is a very different take on the conventional endless runner.

Sorry, but giving you 2 stars would be way too much.

I would like to put up a counterpoint to jhungmr's review. The mouse controls are fine, and the platforming focus around the hook gimmick is wonderful. I just have a problem with a few levels which feel extremely drawn out for no good reason.

For example, level 21. We have a terrible safety net (a moving platform that takes a miracle to jump on) that comes after an extremely easy part of the level, and before an extremely hard part. This results in a ton of wasted time trying to complete the hard part of this level because the easy part is so damn long. It feels like a fake challenge when this kind of issue exists.

It's too bad though, because level 21 feels like a great challenge. It's ruined however with this problem, as it takes several hours to pass because players keep dying.

Also, many of the jumps feel like they need a virgin sacrifice to the Aztec gods in order to land. The camera is too small and cramps the player too much. Dirk seriously needs glasses.

Finally, the boss fights should be fixed. These guys are way too easy to exploit and if not exploited they become nearly impossible unless with extremely strong skills of observation. It's the worst possible case in regards to designing combat encounters.

And that's about it, hope you guys make a sequel!

I am starting to see this game's age. For example, the view is too small, and there is a glitch where I might end up passing through a slope if I tried to jump onto it.

Nonetheless it's still an addictive time waster, and these things are pretty much nitpicks that don't devalue the player's experience in a noticeable way.

Like Delvonshi said, the framerate skips are too much for a game that requires this much skill.

Also, I have to accustom myself to the fact that every time I hit a wall I tend to stick to it.

It's not bad. Just not that great either.

It wasn't really hard to finish. I know that a lot of the game is supposed to be about noticing little details but there wasn't any really difficult logic puzzles to be found.

I finished the game but I was hoping for some challenge.

This is a very fun game. I laughed immediately when I saw Trump interrupt Clinton.

I just wish that you put a little more effort into the Clinton email part. For example, I would have liked some emails that cause you to lose voters when deleted instead of having to delete every single one. It would force players to slow down instead of rushing as fast as they can in finishing the job.

I did better with Clinton for some reason. 887K vs. 878K votes, even though I screwed up the email part.

Finally I would have loved to play as one of the third party candidates. I find that it was a mistake to leave them out of the equation.

It's fun, so I give this game 5 stars.

It did provide a good amount of challenge, that's for sure.
