[Two Steps Back]

Pretty good, pretty good.

Wish it was longer actually. In fact maybe it's easier to make longer tracks than shorter ones, without sacrificing quality. If you could get more information into the track then maybe it would turn out better.

The vocals are a bit unclear, but I don't think that's necessarily a problem unless you intended them to be clear. In my opinion, the way the vocals are, it's incredibly refreshing compared to other music that our ears are violated by.

Also, the percussion is almost at the right spot. You don't need to take two steps back, just keep going!

God damn, this is perfect. I got sucked in right away.

Heck, even if this is a remix, it has its almost satirical feel that is rather inspiring.

Loops alright. Lots of variety, and quite interesting.
Just wishing it was longer than 40 seconds, but that's a small matter.

But I just listened to this for 5 minutes straight so what do I know.

Pretty good stuff. I think though that the problem with this track is the fact that you go too deep in the percussion instruments, and some of the more interesting parts seem to be barely audible in the background. Like say, between 00:32 and the 00:56 I would have liked the fainter sounds to be easier to hear, and the volume (pitch, tone, and all that are fine) of the drums to be weaker.

I guess though that's the point of hip-hop. If so, I don't think it's necessarily my style.
